The Birds & the Bees Garden Co. is a small scale garden maintenance company based out of Asheville, NC. We focus on organic gardening techniques, Integrated Pest Management, and believe in treating the garden as a whole ecosystem, not just individual plants.

Amanda Lavallee, Garden Ecologist
After growing up in her grandmother's and parents' vegetable gardens, as well as being taught to forage for wild foods by her father, Amanda has learned a strong sense of stewardship for the earth. She went on to earn a Bachelors Degree in Biological Studies and Outdoor Education with further course work in Horticulture after graduating. She enjoys working with clients who are hands-on in their gardens, teaching about all things nature, and continuing to learn about plants, bugs and soil.
